Ninth Annual MEGA Rotary TV Auction

Once again the Rotary Clubs of St Catharines, Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls Sunrise, Welland, Fonthill and Fort Erie are joining together with COGECO TV for ONE giant regional event. The auction will take place on Thursday November 30, and Friday and Saturday, December 1 and 2 - the start of the holiday shopping season.

Donations with a value between $50 and $300 are auctioned off and the donated item receives a ten minute segment of airtime. Items over $300 are featured for longer periods, as major specials. Any business or individual wishing to participate can contact any of the Club Executives for more information.

Auction proceeds are used locally for projects such as Boys & Girls Club Niagara Falls, Pathstone Mental Health, V Elementary School Technology Program, Niagara Children's Centre, Pelham Cares Home for Good, Women's Wellness Groups in Niagara, Fort Erie Theatre, Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive, Niagara Nutrition Partners, City of Niagara Falls Park, Community Care of St Catharines and Thorold, and Bethlehem Housing Projects, to name a few in each community.

Last year the MEGA Rotary TV Auction was among the most watched programs on COGECO TV, reaching about 100,000 homes from Fort Erie to Grimsby. Photos and descriptions are posted to our web site at http://www.rotarytvauction.ca  for more exposure for your business.

This year we’re going to an online bidding format that will open the week before the official dates. Watch for instructions in the Tabloid which comes out November 22. Get your bidding number on sign up and you’ll find it’s easy and fun. Cogeco is still broadcasting on the days of the auction.
