Once again this fall, the Rotary Club of Fonthill is hosting a Luxury Purse Bingo.  This has always been a great social event supporting our local community.  The proceeds of our Purse Bingo will go to support the Pathstone Mental Health clinic held at the Meridian Community Centre as well as to support Pelham Cares.   In addition, we will be accepting donations of non-perishable items for Pelham Cares at the door. 

Our event will be held in the Accursi Room at the Meridian Community Centre on Friday, November 8^th, 2024.  The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the games will start at 7 p.m.  Light refreshments will be served and there is a cash bar.  We run 10 games each with the opportunity to win a designer purse sponsored by local businesses and individuals.  We then run an optional 11^th game for a luxury gift basket with items donated by local businesses.  Participants can choose to purchase 50/50 tickets.

We sell individual tickets for $45 per person.  Table groupings are for a maximum of 8 people.  There is still the opportunity to sponsor a purse for $250 which also provides you with one complimentary ticket.

To reserve tickets please email details to pursebingo@rotarycluboffonthill.ca  All tickets can be purchased by e transferring to accounts@rotarycluboffonthill.ca  Please include in your e transfer the name of the primary person ordering the tickets.

Our Holiday Social will take place at Rose Manor, 71 Frazer Street in Welland.  Tickets are $45 per person, $25 for children under the age of 12.  This is a limited capacity event due to the size of our venue.  A light meal of finger foods and mixed charcuterie wlll be served.  Please bring your own refreshments.  

Please register you and your guests, pay via e transfer to accounts@rotarycluboffonthill.ca or via cheque to Rotary Club of Fonthill.

Please confirm your plans to attend by registering.  Do not call Domenic's directly.  We will be providing them with numbers.

Attendees can order from the menu and pay as you leave.

Rotary will once again be sponsoring the Free Skate at the Meridian Community Centre on Family Day from 11AM to 12:30PM.

Town of Pelham Family Day Community Expo setup will begin at 10:30AM.  Rotary will have a table at the Expo.  Please come by and see us! 

Once again we will provide an opportunity to bring non-perishable items for Food4Kids.

The Town of Pelham Community Eco-Expo provides a platform for local environmental organizations to connect with residents, share valuable information, and promote sustainable initiatives. This year, the expo will be held alongside two other Earth Day activities, ensuring great community engagement:

• Community Clean-up: Residents will be picking up pre-registered garbage collection supplies and heading out to clean up around the venue and other locations in the community.
• Rain Barrel Pickup: Community members who pre-ordered rain barrels will be collecting them that morning.  Order Here

With these activities happening at the same time, we anticipate strong attendance and an engaged audience eager to learn about local environmental efforts. We would love for you to showcase your organization and be part of this inspiring event!
