Board Meeting
January 15th, 2020

Accounts
Randy provided an update on our accounts. Currently we have $51,700 in all of our accounts. Some of this is held for the Arches and we still have monies coming in from TV Auction. We also need to distribute the District Grant for Socks 4 Change. As well, our dues are due from all members. Randy predicts that we are still on track to end the year as budgeted with just over $24,000.
It as noted that we had several volunteers assist with the SilverStick tournament and this brought in $328 to the club.
New Member Application
John Cappa has now attended two meetings as a guest and has expressed interest in joining the club. A brief biography has been sent to Mike.
MOTION: That the Rotary Club of Fonthill accept a membership application from John Cappa.

District Grant
Socks 4 Change - Mel provided an update that the grant needs to flow through Pelham Cares as per the grant application. The hope is that this will occur shortly and that a presentation to Sam Baio can happen at a regular meeting in February.
Defribillator - St. John's Ambulance is to order this and Hugh will follow up that this is done.
Voice of Pelham article - the board thanked Mel for the article in the Voice announcing this year's process for applying for grants.
Arches
Frank was unable to attend so this item was tabled.
New Business
Hugh tabled a slate of officers for the 2020-2021 year.
Motion: That the current Board of the Rotary Club of Fonthill approve the Board of Directors for the year 2020-2021 as presented herein:
President: Hugh Graham
President Elect: Ann Harrison
Past President: Mike Taylor
Secretary: Dave Schulz
Treasurer: Randy Momot
Moved by Hugh Graham, Seconded by Mel Groom, Carried.
Ann will be absent in February and as such, Dave agreed to be Secretary for January 29th and February 5th. Mel agreed to be Secretary for February 12th, 19th and 26th.
