Arches
The arches fundraiser took place on October 19th. Frank provided an update on the event to the club members many of whom were present at the event. All 160 prepared gift bags were distributed and all tickets sold. The response to the event was positive and more businesses indicated a desire to sponsor arches. The auction items raised additional funds.
Purse Bingo – November 8th
This additional fund raiser is in conjunction with the Town of Pelham. Tickets are $30 with tables of 8
for $240. Organizations or individuals can sponsor a purse for $250. Ann and Mel will be distributing a sign up roster closer to the event as we will need lots of individuals to volunteer to assist in numerous different areas.
TV Auction
Annie provided an update just prior to the closing of the Wizard. A reminder to bring in all items by the following meeting, October 30th.
Youth Conference
Mike, Frank, Meg, Ann and Fanny attended the Youth Conference in NOTL all day Saturday, October 19th. This was a great opportunity for the exchange students, the Interact (ELC sent three reps), the Rotaract Club (both Brock and Niagara sent reps) and Rotarians to learn from each other.
Paul Harris Dinner
Annie reminded everyone of the Paul Harris dinner on November 7th. An email invitation with instructions on how to RSVP has been distributed.
End Polio Event
Mike invited people to both the End Polio event at ELC during the day and the evening lighting of the Bandshell. Both events were held on October 24th.
Condolences
Condolences were shared on the recent death of Peter Papp's sister.
Pelham Cares Food Drive
