the Taylors.

Fanny shared information regarding the geography and cultural set up of Belgium. She shared the
popular foods like French fries, waffles and beer as well as common festivals and celebrations such as
Carnaval in Mark. In September ‘Les Fetes de Wallonie’ occurs and is a great musical celebration.
Belgium has three languages. She indicated that she lives in the French area of Belgium in the town of
Namur. She lives with her parents, older sister and 2 cats. She loves travelling and her favourite city is
New York City.

Fanny has graduated from school and speaks Spanish, Dutch and English. Her school was much smaller
than E.L. Crossley. At Crossley she is taking Sociology, Business, Drama and Gym. On her dreamlist to do
while in Canada is to see a hockey game, try poutine and discover new places.

Club members remarked on how well Fanny spoke and how her English has improved in the short time
