Town of Pelham Volunteer Awards – Oct 30th

  • Congratulations to Lance and Frank for their Peer Award recognition – Lance for his work on the Canada Day Committee and Frank for his work with Rotary

  • Congratulations to all of us for the Community Corporate Recognition Award

  • Additionally Lannie Seddon, last year’s Interact President was recognized with a Peer Award for her work on the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council

TV Auction

  • Thanks to Annie and Hugh for all of their work on the TV Auction

Rotaract of Niagara

  • St. Catharines Club will co sponsor the Rotaract with us – Frank announced that 6 members attended the District Conference – we hope to hear more from them shortly.

New Member Induction – November 15th

  • We look forward to welcoming Troy Killick as a member

Guest Speaker – Bob Lyttle – rel8ed.to

  • Bob is a local entrepreneur who came to Canada for a “few years” of work from the U.S.

  • Having completed his tenure he was staying to allow his kids to finish the school year

  • In the meantime he linked with Innovate Niagara and has now ended up creating his own business here in Niagara and has stayed

  • Bob praised the options available in this region to support entrepreneurs such as himself

  • Now – his company has strong connections with Goodman School of Busines and supports graduates in staying and working in Niagara

  • Rel8ed.to scans public data for companies, performs analysis of the data and provides companies with competitive advantage opportunities

  • They have a massive data base which they convert to valuable information for oarganizations

  • Allows organizations to retain, expand, and fill gaps in their portfolios, react to changes in markets

  • Bob was complimentary to our organization and our community

  • He proudly supports coop students from Brock and DSBN to support the development of local talent
