6.    President’s Report/Correspondence/Announcements:
a) TV Auction – Annie
Annie reminded the group that we need to get items in by October 9th.  In part this is because we need a sense of how much time the auction will take - will we need all of the dates allocated.  Also, it takes time to set up the Wizard.  Annie suggested that in lieu of sports tickets, you may wish to work with an organization to purchase restaurant coupons in a matching situation.
Amy Graham is doing a great job with the social media campaign and branding and marketing the auction.
Lance reminded people that if you make a cash donation that there is a charitable tax credit that provides a 42% return.

b) 2021 Fun Fest – Paul/Paul
Paul Snack has been in touch with Bissell’s and they are supportive of a Funfest potentially in the Fall of 2021.

c) Remembrance Day Services
Mel shared that the Legion will only be doing one service at the Hall this year.  Rotary Club of Fonthill will continue to support this with the purchase of wreaths.
Ann indicated that the Legion is selling branded masks as a fundraiser - Order online: Poppy Store

Hugh shared that we are one of 15 clubs in the district which earned a Presidential Citation.  Thanks to Mike and the whole team for this.  We likely are on track again this year for earning it again.
