a)    New member proposal – Keith McConkey – Membership has been informed of Keith’s application to join our Club.  Frank, Hugh and Dave met with Keith by Zoom last week and are recommending acceptance.  Dave will be sending an email to membership on Hugh’s behalf requesting comments by the end of this week and a vote will be held at the next meeting on Wednesday December 2nd.  Dave will inform Keith of this process.
b)    Club by-laws (intro & homework) – Ann updated us on her work reviewing our Constitution and Bylaws.  She will be sending a draft out to membership for review and comments.
Ann pointed out that election of Board and Directors for next year 2021/22 is required to be completed in December each year.
c)    2021-22 Team: Ann as President-Elect will be putting a team together for next year.  As such she will be sending an email to membership requesting that current Board Members and Directors confirm their intentions for next year, and inviting others to indicate interest in assuming leadership positions.  Members will be invited to respond directly to Ann.  At this point we know that a new President-Elect will be required.
d)    Club Goals in RCC  - Dave is conducting a review of our annual goals which were agreed to early in the current Rotary year.  We reviewed each item and updated numbers for posting in RCC.  Dave will update and send a report out to membership again asking for input.  Members are requested to let Dave know when they participated in events and activities on behalf of the Club so that he can keep our progress up to date in RCC.
e)    Rotary Curling – Bob reported that the Curling Bonspiel Rotarians (unofficial Rotary group) is looking for a host for two events: 1) 2023 CanAm Rotary Bonspiel, and 2) 2024 World Rotary Bonspiel.  Welland has a well-established and fully equipped Rotary Curling Club.  Bob is exploring the potential of hosting one or both of these events.  There was a general vote of support approving our Club involvement.
