District Grants
Mel Groom reported that the grant committee met last Wednesday and reviewed 7 very worthy community applications. After careful consideration, iCAN-T.E.R. is our chosen charity to receive $5000 matching Club and District Grant in 2020/21. They are planning to develop a vegetable garden and have asked us to cover the cost along with 6 scholarships for children that will be assisting with project. In addition, and in same gardening theme, we will assist with cost of pony drawn lawn mower.
Mel also reported that 2019/20 grants are in process of being finalized. Reports will be submitted to District Grants Committee and they in turn will approve and send matching grant proceeds to Club.
