President’s Updates:
Rotary Leadership Institute – Sat Sept 23rd, 8 a.m – 3:30 p, Sanborn, NY
Club covers the costs, Paul has sent information regarding this and hopes that people attend
Car pooling is an option, let Paul S know if you are interested and you can prepay and then submit a receipt to Randy
Club Social – Tuesday, Sept 26th in the evening, Kame and Kettle
Due to the size of the venue, this will not be a Youth Exchange fundraiser – that will occur at another time.
This social will replace the regular meeting that week

District Conference – Whiteoaks, NOTL, October 27-29th
Paul encouraged attendance at the event, especially the Saturday evening gala

Ninth Annual MEGA Rotary TV Auction

Annie shared information regarding this year’s TV Auction which will have on-line bidding for a first time. Annie has distributed to all Club members their folder with information. Please be sure to review this info carefully. New members, please review the information provided. If you have any questions please reach out to Annie for clarification.
OUR GOAL: to net $20,000 for the club (last year we had a net of $13,574)
To achieve this goal – we need everyone to make connections with previous donors and connect with new donors. Take a careful look at which items brought a good return last year and talk to donors about suggestions to bring in more – for example gift certificates bring in a high rate of return.
Annie indicated that the this year, there will be more time for promotion for organizations as on line bidding starts prior to the auction date itself.
The on line wizard for entering your donation information will be open soon. Annie will send out the info regarding this. Please review info in your package regarding this.
PLEASE NOTE: The cut off for donations is October 22nd.
On line bidding will start NOVEMBER 22nd.
Stay tuned for more information regarding ways to volunteer and assist. All pods are invited to challenge each other to bring in the most donations.
