The Rotary Club of Fonthill was pleased to welcome Julie Andrews and Amy Guilmette to their weekly meeting on June 22nd.  Julie and Amy introduced the members to the new partnership between these libraries and shared all the new and exciting opportunities that exist for community members.

Amy brought a “show and tell” box displaying some of the great items that you can take home from the library to use.  Items such as lifejackets, park passes and programmable robots represent the new vision of community libraries.  Amy also shared the on-line resources which allow users to access books, movies, documentaries, research papers and magazines from the comfort of your home.

Throughout the entire Rotary year, numerous speakers have shared their expertise and experiences with the club and in recognition of all of the guest speakers throughout the 2021-2022 Rotary year the club presented a cheque to the Lincoln Pelham Public Library.  This cheque promotes the Rotary goal of improving literacy in our community.
